Study Abroad at Webster–Thailand

Cha-Am/Hua Hin CampusA vibrant city in the heart of Southeast Asia, Bangkok has the compulsive energy of a fast-moving modern capital city. A core country within the ASEAN Economic Community, Bangkok is attracting commerce, visitors, and development from abroad more than ever before, with big international brand names opening up business in the region. This creates a wonderfully diverse community and a truly unique city culture.

Whilst embracing a time of great economic change, the customs and heritage of Thailand are lovingly preserved. Golden temples shine against blue skies inviting quiet contemplation, up close to the gleaming skyscrapers of a modern metropolis.

Just two hours’ drive from Bangkok, Hua Hin is a quaint seaside resort town in the Gulf of Thailand. Home to royal palaces, Hua Hin has an upmarket feel; a favorite getaway destination for Thais looking for a sedate break away from the city, or a round of golf on one of the town’s many world-class courses.

Just 25 km away from Hua Hin on the way to Bangkok, Cha-Am is even more laid back with a long stretch of soft sand; another weekend escape for Bangkokians.

Students can easily explore Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, as well as Myanmar, Hong Kong, and Singapore during their study abroad experience. Malaysia is just over the border and Bali is close by too. Low-cost airlines and domestic-only flights reach the beautiful beaches in the south or the sophistication of another sparkling city within an hour or two from Bangkok’s two airports.
