Webster Thailand Students Produce Lip Dub Video

As an initiative that was 100% organized by the student body, the lip dub video was filmed at several locations throughout Webster’s Hua Hin / Cha Am campus including the library, gymnasium, classrooms and campus grounds. Although filming commenced in April, the final scene was only recorded on Commencement day itself and premiered the same evening!

In order for Lip dub 2017 to be as successful as it was, there was a tremendous amount of planning, energy and communication required from the entire team. With everything from delineation of roles, choice of song (Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop that Feeling), and route planning, the energy that went into the film was nothing short of impressive. By adding a few extra elements including practice and unwavering enthusiasm, the students were able to deliver a product that was cherished by everyone in attendance.

Projects such as Lip dub 2017 provide a great opportunity for students to come together outside of the traditional classroom setting. In addition, they also represent a unique way to generate cohesiveness and positivity across the entire campus. In fact, it is projects such as this that reinforce the unique learning environment on offer for Webster students in campuses across the globe.

Webster University Thailand would like to extend a big thank you to all students that were involved in making this project a reality. A special thank you goes to Suhasha Malla, Owen Nguyen, Thsering Yuden, Phuntsho Choden, Phuntsho Younten, Abish Rajbhandari, Abhilasha Rayamajhi, Pallavi Sethichaiyen, the Office of Student Affairs, and the Marketing Communications department.
