Being a Webster undergraduate student at the Cha Am campus

Webster University Thailand offers very unique experience to students. It is the only American university in South East Asia with accreditation from Ther North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools accredited Webster College as well as the Ministry of University Affairs in Thailand.

Webster University main campus is located in St. Louis , Missouri , U.S.A. In the U.S. alone, Webster University has over fifty campuses. Furthermore, we have international campuses in London , England; Leiden , The Netherlands; Geneva , Switzerland; Vienna , Austria; Shanghai , China; Kensai , Japan.

Our student body adds to the uniqueness of being at Webster University : more than 30 nationalities are studying at Webster University Thailand. As one student from the U.S. says “I have more than 15 different nationalities sitting in one classroom: This is a great chance for me to make friends all over the world without traveling there!”

Want to hear from our students? If so, please continue…

As a part of Webster University , I find it rewarding to be able to freely express my opinions with my professors and friends, who culturally differ from me, and still receive respect and acceptance from them.

Being a Webster graduate student at the Bangkok Academic Center

Why there are two Webster University Thailand locations?

Thailand 's capital, Bangkok is a vibrant cosmopolitan city that attracts professionals from all over the world, both Thais and foreigners. Since they live in Bangkok, and because their busy work schedule does not permit them to travel 230 km (140 miles) to Hua Hin to attend classes, the Bangkok Center offers them a unique opportunity to complete their Masters Degree in the center of the Thai capital. There are, however, recent B.A. graduates among the students in Bangkok, as well those who complement their professionally more experienced colleagues.

How Hua Hin campus and Bangkok campus differ?

Bangkok offers Graduate Degrees (Masters) in International Relations, Masters of Media Communications and the MBA (Master of Business Administration) only while Hua Hin, with its off campus housing, offers students Undergraduate degrees and a variety of available majors. Another difference is that Bangkok Center offers courses in the evening, thereby allowing those who work to attend classroom sessions, while classes in Hua Hin usually are held during the day. Unlike Hua Hin, there is no residential campus in Bangkok, students can ask for assistance to help arrange their lodging and meals throughout the city.

What about the student body in Bangkok ?

Bangkok Center offers small classes (6 to 15 Students per class), thereby allowing free exchange of ideas and questions to flow between the instructor and the students. Students come from all parts of the world: Thailand (both Thais and foreigners living here), Asia, North America, Western and Eastern Europe, as well as the Middle East and Africa. They and usually are mature individuals with lots of professional and personal experiences to share with others.
