Scholarships & Financial Aid

Webster University Thailand provides a number of Financial Aid programs for both undergraduates and graduate students. Scholarships are designed to reward academic excellence and support academic learning performance. Bursaries encourage students from abroad to study in Thailand (International Diversity Bursary), as well as high-school applications from within Asia (Asian Bursary). Financial support is also available for military educational programs (GI Bill) as well as Federal Student Aid Programs (FAFSA).

Scholarships

Webster University Thailand is committed to recognizing effort and excellence in learning through its Academic Scholarship program awarded each year to newly enrolled students.  A number of scholarships support academic performance through financial aid to motivated as well as gifted students.

Webster University Thailand is committed to recognizing effort and excellence in learning through its Academic Scholarship program for new students. A number of scholarships support tuition costs for motivated and gifted students. Full-time undergraduate students accepted into courses at Webster University Thailand qualify for scholarship status. Awards are directed to reducing tuition costs, with funds exclusively transferred for this purpose. To be considered for Webster University Thailand Entrance Scholarship 2017-2018 Academic Year, complete and submit scholarship application form.

Asian Bursary

Webster University Thailand Asian Bursary awards THB 60,000 per semester towards reducing tuition fees to support academic learning and performance. While only those students who have earned high-school qualifications in Asia are eligible, the nationality of the students is not relevant.

Undergraduates studying for a Bachelor Degree at Webster University Thailand at one of the two Thai campus sites are eligible for aid. For those students awarded financial support, funds are automatically transferred to reduce study costs upon receipt of a letter of acceptance. Students receiving a bursary are also still eligible for merit-based scholarships following completion of one year of studies.

International Diversity Bursary

Webster University Thailand promotes diversity by encouraging undergraduate student applications from across the globe with a THB 60,000 per semester International Diversity Bursary. Funding is transferred to reduce tuition fees and is valid during a student’s entire degree program, allowing greater affordability for those students studying abroad in Asia.

Students qualifying for financial aid include those from a number of countries and continents: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, Georgia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Panama, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Serbia, Turkey, Panama; including African and South American countries, and the Caribbean. Students successful in securing financial support are also still eligible for merit-based scholarships following completion of one year of studies.

GI Bill

Webster University Thailand supports military students with a military-friendly and vet-friendly environment and study programs. To enable students to take advantage of greater opportunities in military and civilian careers, the GI Bill donates monthly stipends, with funds to purchase course materials, such as text books.

The Reserve Officer Training Corps Program offers Webster University Thailand military students full and partial scholarships toward tuition fees. Webster University has a 40+ year history as a center of excellence for military educational training and Webster University Thailand is part of that culture and heritage. Active military personnel, reserves, as well as veterans are welcomed and proactively encouraged to study.
