All degrees awarded by Webster University follow the American approach to curriculum design. At both undergraduate and graduate level, the design is grounded in a credit accumulation system. The undergraduate curriculum is based on the liberal arts tradition. Undergraduates are required to successfully complete 128 credit hours and graduates must successfully complete 36 credit hours (with emphasis, there is a further requirement).
An undergraduate degree will normally take 8 semesters, or 4 years, to complete. Your choices as an undergraduate will be to pick a major from one of the following schools of academics:
George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology
School of Arts & Sciences
School of Communications
Students at WUTC are supported through their studies by an Academic Adviser. It is the responsibility of the Adviser to guide students through the degree requirements and to encourage students to maximize their opportunities to grow intellectually and socially.
In summary, the academic approach at WUTC is grounded in CARE i.e. curricular care, pastoral care and developmental care.
