Kevin Koplar is faculty of the GCP & Languages department at Webster University Thailand, where he teaches ESL and writing courses. He is Coordinator of the Transitions Program in the Bangkok Academic Center, which is a program to help select students acquire the study skills and language needed to succeed in their academic careers at Webster.  He completed a Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary English Literature and a Master of Arts in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) from Webster University St. Louis in 2016. He completed his bachelor’s degree in English literature and creative writing from Indiana University in 2011. Kevin’s coursework is designed to be engaging and focuses on developing key skills that center on academic writing but apply broadly across domains. Kevin supplements and contextualizes his curriculum by integrating personal passions - including music, travel, and martial arts - into student learning activities.
